Who we are
Davao IT Engineers (DITE Consortium, "DITE", "we") is an IT services consortium based in Davao City, Philippines. We are responsible for the personal information collected through davaoitengineers.com and our inquiry form. This notice does not cover other websites, including any linked from ours.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit our project intake form, we receive:
- Your first and last name, email address and phone number.
- The project details you write in the form, which may include information about your company, systems and requirements.
- Your consent choices: permission for our lead architects to contact you about your inquiry by email or SMS, and, if you tick the separate optional box, permission to send you occasional updates and insights.
Please do not include passwords, access keys or other secrets in the form. If a project needs them, we will arrange a secure way to share them.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you request and the time of the request. The inquiry form and its spam protection also receive technical data from your browser so they can work.
How we use it
- To review your inquiry, contact you about it, and prepare a proposal. The basis is your consent and the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract.
- To deliver, support and bill for services you engage us for, under our agreement with you.
- To send occasional updates and insights, only if you opted in. You can withdraw this consent at any time.
- To keep this website, our form and our systems secure, detect spam and abuse, and meet legal obligations. The basis is our legitimate interest in operating securely, and legal requirements.
We do not sell personal information, use it for third party advertising, or make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Who we share it with
Your inquiry is seen only by the DITE engineers assigned to review and respond to it. We also rely on a small number of service providers that process data on our behalf, only for the purposes below:
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Website hosting, content delivery and security | IP address, browser details, pages requested |
| LeadConnector (HighLevel) | Our inquiry form, customer records and follow up communication | Everything you submit in the form, plus technical data needed to run it |
| Cloudflare Turnstile or Google reCAPTCHA, loaded by the form | Blocking spam and automated submissions | IP address and browser or device signals |
| Google Fonts | Serving the typefaces used on this site | IP address and browser details, sent when your browser loads the fonts |
We may also disclose information when required by law, a court order or a lawful request from a government authority, or to protect the rights, property or safety of DITE, our clients or others.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our own pages do not set cookies and do not use analytics or advertising trackers. The embedded inquiry form and its spam protection may use cookies or similar browser storage that they need to function and to tell people apart from bots. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, but the form may not work correctly if you do.
Processing outside the Philippines
Some of our service providers operate internationally, including in the United States, so your information may be processed outside the Philippines. Where this happens, we rely on providers with established security and privacy practices, and we remain responsible for your information under the Data Privacy Act.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up. If you become a client, we keep your records for the length of the engagement and afterwards for as long as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes. We delete or anonymize information we no longer need, and you can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.
How we protect it
Information sent through this site travels over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to inquiry records is limited to the people who need it to respond to you, and we apply the same security standard to our own systems that we build for clients. No system is perfectly secure, but if a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:
- Be informed about how your personal information is processed.
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Object to processing, including withdrawing consent you have given.
- Ask us to delete or block your information.
- Receive a copy of your information in a commonly used electronic format.
- Be compensated for damages caused by inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, false or unlawfully obtained or used information.
- File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.
If you live outside the Philippines, the privacy laws where you live may give you similar or additional rights, and we will honor them where they apply.
To make a request, send us a message through our contact form and start the details with "Privacy request". We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on it, and we will respond within the period the law requires.
Client data in our services
When you engage DITE, you may give us access to systems, documents or data that contain personal information, for example files indexed by a private AI deployment or servers covered by a backup plan. We process that data only on your instructions and to deliver the agreed service, as set out in your service agreement. It is kept separate from other clients' data, is never used to train public AI models, and is returned or deleted at the end of the engagement as agreed.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice as our services or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. Questions about this notice can be sent through our contact form.
